Brendan Rodgers' team "Liverpool" could be complemented by two "Southampton" club footballers.
It is reported that the Merseyside club has reached an agreement with the "Saints" regarding the transfer of forward Rickie Lambert to the "Liverpool" team. On Saturday morning, R. Lambert underwent a medical examination in Liverpool and it is speculated that the official confirmation of this transfer will be announced on Monday.
The experienced 32-year-old forward will cost "The Reds" 4 million pounds. This amount could increase depending on the player's and team's achievements.
It is also announced that the club led by B. Rodgers has made another offer for midfielder Adam Lallana. Earlier, "Southampton" rejected a 20 million pound offer for the 26-year-old Englishman, but now "Liverpool" is offering a sum of 25 million pounds. It is stated that this will be the final offer and the "Liverpool" club will not offer higher amounts.
