"Liverpool" will face the quarterfinals of the English League Cup with a reserve lineup

"Liverpool" club has become a victim of its success - the "Reds" will face such an intense schedule in the month of December that they are forced to delegate completely different lineups to two tournaments. Jurgen Klopp's players last week eliminated London's "Arsenal" from the English League Cup and extended their journey in the tournament. The "Reds" now await the quarter-final match against "Aston Villa" on December 17th. For other clubs, this date poses no obstacles, but "Liverpool" in December will defend European honor in the FIFA Club World Cup, which is a priority. "Liverpool" issued an official statement stating that they agree to play the match against "Aston Villa", but will delegate a completely different lineup - the main team will already be in Qatar, where the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final match will take place on December 18th. The statement adds that the club will also consider the remarks of the English League Cup and consider the possibility of postponing the match.
