One of the most famous Swedish footballers of the past decade, Freddie Ljungberg, has signed a contract with the Japanese top league club "Shimizu S-Pulse."

The 34-year-old veteran has already received a work permit and reportedly put his signature on a one-year contract.

Last season, Ljungberg represented the Glasgow Celtic team, but in the Scottish championship, he only appeared in the starting lineup once in 7 matches and did not score any goals.

Throughout his career, the midfielder also wore the jerseys of teams such as "Halmstad," London's "Arsenal," London's "West Ham," Seattle Sounders, and Chicago Fire.
