L.Markovičius disqualified for four UEFA matches (VIDEO)

"Liverpool" defender Lazar Markovic received a punishment from UEFA - the Serb was punished with a three-match suspension for hitting an opponent. The 20-year-old footballer hit an opponent with his hand during the Champions League group stage match against "Basel" and received a red card for it. L. Markovic will miss one game because of the red card, and three more - due to the UEFA punishment. Many were outraged by the expulsion of the Serbian national team player from the field, as the Serb hit the opponent with his hand without seeing him at all, and the opponent seemed to take advantage of it with elements of acting. However, it may be that UEFA took into account L. Markovic's past offenses, when last season he got involved in a clash with Juventus player Mirko Vucinic in the Europa League.
