Barcelona team leader Lionel Messi donated 1 million euros to the Barcelona city hospital, confirmed by the official social media page of the medical institution. Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola also showed his generosity by donating the same amount to a hospital in his home city of Catalonia. Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes donated 1 million euros to three Portuguese medical institutions to purchase vital equipment.
