On Friday, five matches of the eighth round took place in the First League of the Lithuanian Women's Football Association (LMFA).
During this round, the capital's teams participated in a derby. MFA "Žalgiris" B-MRU and MFK "Žalgiris" played with a score of 4:1. Ugnė Slankauskaitė scored a brace, while Irūna Blaškytė, Elinga Pampuškaitė, and Alina Neznanova scored the other goals.
An identical result of 4:1 was recorded in the match between FA "Šiauliai"-ŠSG and FK "Vilkija". Jotvilė Šapaitė scored first, but Gabija Malakauskaitė equalized in the 33rd minute. Later, the Šiauliai players scored through Liepa Vitkutė, J. Šapaitė, and Jorūnė Lipkinaite.
The match between FK "Vilnius" B and "SC-Ukmergė" ended in a more goal-filled 2:4 victory. In the first half, Meida Proscevičiūtė scored a hat-trick, and Danielė Urinovič added a goal for the Vilnius team. In the second half, Goda Papartytė converted a penalty, and Simona Bagavičiūtė secured the visitors' victory in the last minute.
FC "Hegelmann" reserves created a goal-fest in their match against FK "Šešupė", achieving a 17:0 victory. Ema Kriaučiūnaitė scored a poker, Iveta Inčytė and Karolina Kurapatkina scored hat-tricks, Julija Žvaliauskaitė and Kristina Gritė scored braces. Germina Čekanauskaitė, Erika Busevičiūtė, and an own goal by Miglė Juškevičiūtė complemented the scoring.
The only match where spectators saw only one goal took place in Utena. FC "Džiugas" secured a victory of 1:0 against the "Utenos Utenio" reserves, with Emilija Grauslytė's accurate strike in the 78th minute earning 3 points for the Žemaitės team.
