The "Real" star from Madrid, Luka Modric, has no doubt that his compatriot Mateo Kovacic has talent and one day he will represent a huge club.
The 29-year-old L. Modric also revealed that representatives of the "Real" club are asking him about the 20-year-old midfielder, who has been playing for Milan's "Inter" team since the winter of 2013.
"People from 'Real' are constantly asking me about Mateo Kovacic," said the important player within the 'white' ranks.
"He is a phenomenal talent who has to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Without any doubt 'Inter' is a big club, but Kovacic will play for an even bigger one," said the Croat.
L. Modric was recently recognized as the best Croatian footballer of the year. This award was already the fourth in his professional career.
"This was the best year of my career, although winning this award for the fourth time. Of course, my favorite is the first one when I was still playing for 'Dinamo'," concluded the experienced player.
Meanwhile, M. Kovacic is having a very successful season - in 20 games played he scored 4 goals and made 2 assists.
