Bosnia and Herzegovina's national team attacking midfielder Senijad Ibričić, for 5 million euros, moves from Split's "Hajduk" team to Moscow.
The Russian club signed a three and a half year contract with the 25-year-old footballer, through which the Bosnian will earn 3.5 million euros.
However, the Split team also negotiated 20% of the future transfer fee, if Ibričić is sold to any other football club.
"The transfer to "Lokomotiv" is a big step in my career, a new challenge. The Russian championship is at a higher level than the Croatian league. I am happy that everything ended successfully and the contract is signed.
I personally want to thank "Lokomotiv" President Olga Smorodskaya and the entire club for showing interest and belief in my abilities.
Of course, it's sad to leave Split, where I developed as a player. "Hajduk" fans always supported me and I tried to repay them with excellent performance. But such is the life of a footballer - one must accept new challenges," - Ibričić stated on the official website of Moscow's "Lokomotiv" team.
This season, the midfielder played 27 matches for Split's "Hajduk" team, scored 9 goals, and made 11 assists.
