Former German national team striker Lukas Podolski may move to the Polish league in January.
According to "Przeglad Sportowy", the 34-year-old player is close to reaching an agreement with the Zabrze team "Gornik".
Currently, the team is only in 12th place in the "Ekstraklasa" championship.
So far, L. Podolski has played for the Japanese Kobe "Vissel" team, and in the past has played for clubs such as Munich's "Bayern", London's "Arsenal" and Milan's "Inter".
In the German national team, he has scored 49 goals in over 130 matches.
