Romelu Lukaku admits that the beginning of his career at the London club is not as successful as he had hoped.
The 18-year-old Belgian moved to England from Brussels' Anderlecht last summer, but played only 7 matches in the Premier League, all of which he started from the bench.
"I need to play more," Lukaku told "De Standaard". "I didn't imagine my career at Chelsea like this. Both managers - Andre Villas-Boas and Roberto Di Matteo - trust older players more."
He continued: "I didn't always agree with their decisions, but as a player, I have to accept it. I don't regret signing a contract with Chelsea, as I have learned a lot. Now I have to wait to see who will be the long-term manager of the team, but if nothing changes, I would like to be loaned to another club."
