The future "Manchester United" club strategist Louis van Gaal will hand over the team captain's armband to forward Robin van Persie.
In the near future, the Manchester club should officially announce the appointment of the Dutch national team strategist L. Van Gaal as head coach.
According to a Dutch journalist, the strategist and forward R. Van Persie get along well, so it is expected that the former "Arsenal" forward will become the team captain at "Man Utd" club.
The Dutch captain's armband would be taken over from the departing Serbian defender Nemanja Vidic, who is likely to join the ranks of the "Milan" team.
R. van Persie joined "Man Utd" in the summer of 2012. The "Red Devils" paid £24 million for him at the time.
It is reported that L. van Gaal will discuss the final details with the club after a friendly match of the Dutch national team with Ecuador, as the Dutch will have a two-day break before the next match against Portugal.
