"Lyon" striker shining in the ranks, Moussa Dembele, captivates not only one European giant.
Recently, information circulated in the foreign media that the 23-year-old Frenchman is the main target of London's "Chelsea" team this January, after the club's ban on acquiring new players was lifted. The situation of the striker is closely monitored by "Manchester United" as well.
However, "Lyon" issued a statement on Thursday, stating that the club will seek to keep the footballer in their ranks.
"Recently, there have been quite a few reports in the media that some clubs in January would like to acquire Moussa Dembele.
We want to confirm that the club will seek to keep the footballer in our ranks, just as we did last summer," the statement reads in "Lyon"'s announcement.
M. Dembele has played 25 matches this season, in which he scored 10 goals.
#TeamOL would like to reaffirm our wish to keep @MDembele_10.
