Wanting to leave Saudi Arabia, Karim Benzema caught the attention of his first professional club.
"RMC Sport" reports that the leaders of "Lyon" have started looking for ways to bring back their former player.
K. Benzema played for "Lyon" until 2009, when he moved to "Real Madrid."
The Frenchman played for the "Royal" club until last summer when he decided to test himself in Saudi Arabia and signed a contract with the "Al-Ittihad" club. However, now the experienced striker is looking for ways to leave Saudi Arabia, and "Lyon" wants to take advantage of this situation.
It is added that K. Benzema would have to significantly reduce his salary if he wanted to return to his first club.
The Frenchman has played 148 matches and scored 66 goals for "Lyon."
