The 24-year-old defender in Spain has been struggling to become a secure starting player and after a couple of weeks, he may move to another team.
Among other candidates who could strengthen "Lyon" are Valencia's forward Kevin Gameiro, Galatasaray representative Steven Nzonzi, and free agent Hatem Ben Arfa.
Currently, the club is in just 12th place in the "Ligue 1" championship.
