The most powerful French club of last year continues to strengthen the team for the next season and tries to attract the best players from "Ligue 1" one by one.
Earlier we announced that in the coming days the team should officially introduce the Swedish national team and midfielder Kim Kallstrom to their fans. The club also claims to be very close to acquiring defensive midfielder Jeremy Toulalan.
Moreover, now Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas stated that he is ready to offer three key players for Ribery and French national team midfielder Franck Ribery. The French player, who was voted the best young player of the last season in "Ligue 1," is currently preparing with the French national team for the upcoming World Cup.
"We are prepared to offer two or three key players in exchange for Ribery and I believe that Marseille will have to seriously consider our offer," said Aulas. "This would help them assemble a really good team for the next season."
It is believed that Lyon is willing to offer defender Anthony Reveillere and forwards Sidney Govou and John Carew for Ribery. According to the player's agent, Ribery himself also wants to move to the champions of "Ligue 1."
"In his mind, he is no longer a Marseille player," said the player's agent Bruno Heiderscheid. "There is a very high chance that he will not return here."
