"Lyon" president Jean-Michel Aulas hopes that striker Alexandre Lacazette will stay in France and says that "Arsenal" from London has not yet received an offer for him.
The talented footballer, who has been performing well in the last few seasons, has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Recently, there have been more and more reports that the "gunners" want to see him among their ranks, after failing to acquire Jamie Vardy.
"I saw Arsene (Arsenal coach - ed.) during the French national team matches, but he didn't say anything to me," Aulas told L'Equipe.
"I don't think his departure is real and it seems that Alex wants to spend the season together with Lyon in our new stadium."
"He wants to make sure that the Champions League adventures can be much better than last season. I think he will stay with us and we are very happy."
Last season, in 34 Ligue 1 matches, the striker scored 21 goals.
