According to "Lyon" president Jean-Michel Aulas, the club's forward Alexandre Lacazette is already better than Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
During the last season, the 23-year-old footballer scored 15 times in the French championship, but this year in the league competition he already has 19 goals in his account. His excellent form has sparked talks about a move to one of the top European teams.
The striker recently admitted that he could move abroad in the future, but it is believed that any club wanting to acquire Lacazette would have to pay a huge sum of money, as in Aulas' opinion, he is better than the most expensive footballer of all time.
"It is impossible to put a price on him," the president told Le Parisien. "What is the value of someone playing for Real Madrid? I think Alexandre is much better, but he doesn't have a price, so talking about it is meaningless."
"He is a clever guy, understanding that the team and coach help him to express himself freely and become one of the best snipers in Europe."
Aulas also talked about the desire to bring the team back to the UEFA Champions League and said that this will require all the strong players currently in the club.
Lacazette himself extended his contract with "Lyon" for two more years in September 2014. It will expire in the summer of 2018.
