"Lyon" president Jean-Michel Aulas warned European teams not to try to lure forward Moussa Dembele away in January.
According to the team's president, the player will stay in France for at least another six months.
"Our opinion has not changed - the same thoughts were expressed in August.
Moussa is an excellent player and a necessary player for the team. We try not to buy new players who could compete with the athlete for his role on the team. It's not a matter of money - he stays in the club," the president clarified.
It was previously reported that the 23-year-old player is of interest to the teams "Chelsea" and "Tottenham".
In this "Ligue 1" season, M. Dembele scored 11 goals and made 1 assist in 19 matches.
