"Lyon" ready to ban the Nazi salute for a fan who displayed it to visit the stadium for life

The police are conducting an investigation into the Lyon club fan who made a Nazi salute gesture during the match against Manchester City. The French club is prepared to ban this fan from the stadium for life.

Chief of the Manchester Police Department Gareth Parkin condemned the fan's gesture: "This is unacceptable behavior, such actions should not be tolerated in society or in sports. We are determined to find the culprit, all racist and similar crimes in sports will not be tolerated."

In the first match of Group F, Lyon defeated Manchester City 2-1. During the match, a fan was filmed making a Nazi salute gesture and it was posted on the internet.

Lyon released a statement saying: "Once this criminal is found, he will be banned from attending the club's matches for life."
