On Friday, the 2019-20 season of "Ligue 1" championship started.
Last season's struggling team "Monaco" hosted "Lyon" at home. The hosts failed to delight their fans after a long break - "Lyon" celebrated a 3-0 victory.
In the 5th minute, Moussa Dembele put "Lyon" ahead. In the 30th minute, the situation for "Monaco" became even worse when Cesc Fabregas received a red card.
Soon after, in the 35th minute, Memphis Depay increased the lead to two goals with a powerful long-range strike. The final touch at the end of the second half was made by Lucas Tousart.
