In the first of them, last season's vice-champion "Lyon" defeated newcomer "Troyes" at home and rose to the fourth place. However, this victory was not as easy as the 4-1 result shows, as Fabien Camus responded to Alexandre Lacazette's shot in the 67th minute of the first half, restoring balance.
Fortunately for Bruno Genesio's players, they surged forward again five minutes later when Rachidas Ghezal scored. Jordan Ferri and Claudio Beauvue secured victory a little later.
In the next match, "GFC Ajaccio" managed to hold back "Monaco", who are fighting for silver. Leonardo Jardim's team fell behind 0-2 after the first half, but they found the strength to equalize through goals from Fabinho and Ricardo Carvalho.
