"Lyon" undergoes changes: Brazilian Sylvinho dismissed from coach duties

"Lyon" team will have a new coach - 45-year-old Brazilian Sylvinho was relieved of his duties. Having started the season with wins of 3-0 and 6-0 in the "Ligue 1" championship, the "Lyon" team later fell into a huge slump - in the last seven matches, they did not achieve a single victory. The "Lions" admitted defeat four times and drew three times. This resulted in "Lyon" being in 14th position after nine rounds. Sylvinho came to "Lyon" by the decision of Juninho, who became the new sports director of the club before the season started. Interestingly, Sylvinho did not work as a head coach in any other team before coming to Lyon. Previously, he was an assistant to coaches like Roberto Mancini and Tite. The coaching duties at Lyon will be temporarily taken over by assistant coach Gerald Baticle, who has been with the team since 2011.
