Serious troubles await Lyon's "Olympique" club.

The legendary French team may find itself in the "Ligue 2" championship next season.

Due to poor financial conditions and debts, the "Lyon" team is banned from acquiring new players.

If Lyon's "Olympique" does not settle its debts by the end of this season, they will be officially relegated to a lower division of the country.

Currently, the "Lyon" team sits in fifth place in the "Ligue 1" standings with 18 points.
