M. Allegri after the draw with "Cesena": we were too arrogant

The head coach of Turin's "Juventus" team, Massimiliano Allegri, attributes the unexpected 2-2 draw with "Cesena" to the team's mindset.

The match in Cesena was particularly eventful - the home team took the lead first, but the "Bianconeri" quickly responded with two precise shots. At the end of the match, Franco Brienza's strike restored the balance of the game, which could not be tilted in favor of the "Juventus" team as A. Vidal missed a penalty from eleven meters.

"We were not properly prepared for these matches. 'Cesena' has reached a good sporting form and is not afraid to attack their opponents. Especially when playing on a synthetic field, the ball moves faster and one has to pay dearly for the lack of concentration," - said the craftsman of "Juventus" victories after the match.

"We played too slowly, so 'Cesena' repeatedly outmaneuvered us in the battle for the ball. This says a lot about the match. We tried to take control of the game and score a goal, but we wasted our golden opportunity by missing the penalty from eleven meters,".

"On the one hand - it is a painful result, but such matches knock any arrogance out of your head," - noted M. Allegri.

In the next round of the "Serie A" championship on February 20th, "Juventus" will test their strength against the footballers of "Atalanta" in Bergamo.
