Last summer Massimiliano Allegri left the Turin team "Juventus", which he coached for five years.
The 52-year-old Italian is currently not coaching any team, although he was linked with a possible move to London's "Arsenal" and Munich's "Bayern".
Nevertheless, Allegri himself revealed that he will not take on any work in the middle of the season and plans to return to the touchline next summer.
"I plan to return to football in June. I immediately made the decision with my agent that after parting ways with "Juventus" I would like to take a year off. My player career lasted 18 years, and my coaching career - 16 years, so I decided to take a little break. I am very happy about this decision.
Now I have the opportunity to enjoy my personal life, go to the theater, exhibitions, or just read a book," Allegri told ESPN.
The Italian also revealed that he is learning English, which, according to reports, is one of the obstacles preventing this strategist from getting a job in another country.
"I am learning English in Milan. I can already speak quite well, but I still have trouble understanding what others want to tell me. I started watching movies in English, and I can also read books in this language," added the former "Juventus" coach.
