The foreign football news portal "Goal.com" reports that Turin's "Juventus" is close to reaching an agreement with coach Massimiliano Allegri regarding the extension of his contract.
The 48-year-old strategist's current contract with "Juve" is valid until 2017, but there have been talks for some time now that M. Allegri will leave the Italian team this summer. Many European clubs, including London's "Chelsea" and Madrid's "Real," have shown interest in the former "Milan" manager.
However, M. Allegri himself recently stated that he feels happy in Turin and would like to continue his work there. It is said that "Juventus" has reached an agreement with the coach to extend his contract until 2019.
To further satisfy the coach, his contract will now include a sum of 4.5 million euros instead of the previous 3.5 million.
In his first season, M. Allegri, along with "Juventus," triumphed in the Italian league and reached the final of the UEFA Champions League.
