M. Allegri: players work hard in training for a reason

Massimiliano Allegri was pleased with the benefits of training specifically aimed at improving players' accuracy, as a result of which Juventus crushed Parma's footballers 7-0.

In the 11th round of Serie A matches on Sunday, goals rained into the goal of Roberto Donadoni's pupils not even halfway through the first half - Fernando Llorente, Carlos Tevez, Alvaro Morata, and Stephan Lichtsteiner scored two goals each.

After the match, the 47-year-old coach, interviewed by journalists, did not hide his satisfaction with the chosen training methodology: "Players do not work in vain during training. If you get used to scoring goals during the week, then there will be no problems during the match."

"We have unmatched attackers - from experienced Tevez and Llorente to young and talented Morata and Coman. We struggled a little in the first 15 minutes, but after scoring a goal, we were able to properly interpret the course of the match, and I am extremely happy about it," he said.

The highlight of the match was an incredible goal by Carlos Tevez which ended in a goal against the Parma team, praised by M. Allegri himself. This season, C. Tevez has scored 8 goals and made 4 assists, receiving a call-up to the Argentine national team after a three-year break.

"Tevez scored a goal of rare beauty. It has been a long time since he managed to stand out, so the importance of this goal is even greater. He works diligently in training and fully deserves the call-up to the Argentine national team camp," the coach said.

Juventus will play their next Serie A match away on November 22nd against Lazio in Rome.
