The 50-year-old specialist was approached to replace the departed Zinedine Zidane.
"I said 'no' to the Spanish team because I was committed to the president of Juventus.
I have great respect for the Turin team, and that's exactly why I turned down the contract with Real, which is the world's biggest club and every strategist's dream.
I would be a hypocrite if I said that their invitation did not please me, but I am completely convinced that I made the right decision," Allegri insisted.
On August 18th, Juventus will play their first Serie A match against Chievo.
