The coach of Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri, says that Carlos Tevez is deserving of an invitation to the Argentine national team.
The 30-year-old forward has not represented his country since 2011, but started the 2014-15 season excellently, scoring 4 goals in five matches.
However, Argentine coach Gerardo Martino was not impressed with Tevez's performance and will play upcoming friendly matches without him.
"Tevez is playing excellently. Just like last year," said Allegri. "He deserves a call-up to the national team. However, I am not their coach."
