M. Alonso does not intend to leave the "Chelsea" team

With the move to Spain this summer, the London "Chelsea" defender Marcos Alonso is linked, it seems, to continue defending the "aristocrats" honor next season.

The 28-year-old Spaniard, who was recently linked with a move to Madrid's "Atletico" team, was also reportedly being followed by "Barcelona."

However, as the upcoming season approaches, M. Alonso, in communication with journalists, reassured that he does not intend to leave this summer.

"Of course, I hope to stay with Chelsea next season. I signed a new contract last year and I am very happy here. I do not know if other clubs have inquired about a possible transfer. You should ask the club director. I still have four years left on my contract and I am very happy about that. The last three seasons have been fantastic, so I want to continue. I want to keep playing and fighting for more trophies," - said M. Alonso.

Last season, the Spaniard played 39 games for Chelsea, scoring 4 goals and providing 7 assists.
