"Stoke City" in the camp - good news. 27-year-old Austrian national team winger Marko Arnautovic signed a new four-year contract with the club.
In recent times, there have been rumors in the English media that M. Arnautovic was being eyed by Liverpool's "Everton". It was claimed that the "Toffees" were prepared to pay 12.5 million pounds sterling, but the player himself refused to accept the offer and remained loyal to the "Potters".
The Austrian joined "Stoke City" in 2013. Back then, the Premier League representatives agreed to pay 2 million pounds to the Bremen "Werder" team.
In his three seasons with the "Stoke" team, M. Arnautovic played 110 matches and scored 19 goals.
