The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, stated that records mean little when titles are not won:

"We have broken numerous records, but the reality is that this team has not won any serious titles. That is exactly our aim.”

In the last and the season before that, the "Gunners" finished in 2nd place in the English Premier League.

London's Arsenal club is in second place this season, trailing the leading Liverpool by 6 points. The "Scousers" have a game in hand.
