The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, recalled who helped him reach such a high level in his coaching career:

"I called Pep Guardiola this morning... If I am here, it’s only because of him; I am very grateful to this coach.

He has been my inspiration both as a player and as a coach... He is the person who decided to trust me and wanted me to be his assistant coach.”

"I spent four wonderful years at Manchester City with him and I am thankful. I will always be grateful to the Catalan because otherwise, I wouldn’t be at such a high level.”

43-year-old Mikel Arteta worked in the "city" team from 2016 to 2019.

London’s Arsenal club will face PSG in the Champions League semifinals.
