The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, stated that Kieran Tierney is ready to get more opportunities on the pitch and denied rumors regarding a possible transfer of Gabriel Jesus to Brazil:

"K. Tierney is ready and can get more opportunities, as he is part of the team."

"Reports that G. Jesus may leave us in January and move to Brazil are false.

Like other forwards, he goes through various different moments and phases. His attitude towards football has been and is very good. We will support him as much as we can."

27-year-old Gabriel Jesus has scored a goal in 18 matches this season.
