Due to their place still being fought for in the UEFA Champions League, London's "Arsenal" club showed trust in head coach Mikel Arteta. On Friday, the club officially announced that a new contract had been signed with the 40-year-old Spaniard, which will be valid until the summer of 2025. "I am extremely happy and grateful to the club for showing trust in me. We want to lift the team to a higher level and compete with the best teams. In order to do that, we must return to the UEFA Champions League," - M. Arteta said after signing the contract. Arteta has been coaching "Arsenal" since December 2019.
