The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, confirmed that his team could receive new additions in January, reminding of the lack of titles and the limited player options during the winter transfer window:

The January transfer window is significantly more limited than the summer one.

Last year we were the best team in the league, broke numerous records, but we still haven't fought for a serious title.

If there’s something special during the transfer window, we can afford it and we will consider it as a suitable addition for the 'Gunners', we will always be open to the possibility of signing such a player.

At the moment, we are focused on what we have.

London's Arsenal is in second place in the English championship, trailing Liverpool by 6 points. The 'Scousers' have a game in hand.
