On Sunday, London’s Arsenal drew 2-2 at home with the Liverpool team.

After nine rounds played in the Premier League, the Gunners are already five points behind the first-placed Manchester City players.

Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta was pleased with the team’s performance after the match against Liverpool and stated that the current deficit against Man City is not crucial for now.

"It’s clear that we would like to be in a better position. We would like to have a five-point advantage, but it is what it is. We are in the fight, and I can feel how the team wants to fight for trophies. I feel this every day. The players who cannot play for one reason or another are very disappointed that they cannot help the team."

"We have quite a few injured players, and some players still need time to get into their best form. Our situation will definitely improve. I can only say that we are really in the fight,” said M. Arteta.
