On Thursday evening it was announced that the upcoming weekend's Premier League matches will proceed as usual, but this decision could quickly change. London's Arsenal reported that the head coach of the team, Mikel Arteta, has been diagnosed with coronavirus. Both the coach and all individuals who had contact with him are now in quarantine. Currently, all main team players are also isolated from others.
"I am very disappointed, but feeling unwell I decided to take the test. As soon as I get clearance from doctors, I will return to work," commented M. Arteta on the situation. The Premier League will make a decision on further actions on Friday morning.
