A couple of days ago, fans of Madrid's "Real" received very sad news - in a friendly match against London's "Arsenal," the country's forward Marco Asensio suffered a serious injury.
The 23-year-old player tore the anterior cruciate ligaments of his left knee and it is believed that the talent may be forced to miss the entire 2019-20 season.
The Spaniard himself tried to remain optimistic and posted a message on social media:
"I started this season with new hopes, carefully preparing for it in the belief that great football years awaited me and the fans of the Madrid club.
At the highest points of life, you can experience an unexpected blow of fate and then everything changes quickly.
It's hard to come to terms with it now, but this is another turning point in my life. I still believe that a great season awaits us. Your messages and well wishes have given me additional strength. Thank you and we will meet again soon," wrote M. Asensio.
