Madrid "Real" defender Marco Asensio believes that his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo exceeds everyone's expectations and never stops improving.
Portuguese Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the Champions League semi-final match against Madrid "Atletico" yesterday and brought his team closer to the tournament final.
The four-time best player in the world now has eight goals in his account in the last three Champions League matches, thus refuting all talks of his declining form with age.
"Cristiano just keeps getting better and always exceeds any expectations people have", said Asensio.
"We must thank the fans, because whenever we have important games, they lead us forward."
By scoring his third goal, Ronaldo approached 400 goals in the "kingly" club - currently he has scored 399 times. This season, the sniper scored 35 goals and made 12 assists in all competitions.
