Former professional footballer and captain of the German national team Michael Ballack commented on the situation of the young Ousmane Dembele.
The 20-year-old footballer moved to Barcelona for 105 million euros. However, in order for this transfer to happen, he did not attend Borussia Dortmund's training sessions, hoping that they would sell him. The forward was even suspended.
Twice as old, M. Ballack found himself in a similar situation during his career, but he made completely different decisions.
"Dembele owes a lot to Borussia team and should have shown different behavior. In 2004, I reached an agreement with Barcelona, but Bayern didn't want to release me. Going on strike was not an option. Playing honorably in football is very important. You always want to win, but there must be limits," - criticized the young forward M. Ballack.
The German played for Bayern Munich from 2002-2006 and then moved to Chelsea in London. He never played for the Catalan side.
