The German football legend Michael Ballack believes that Mesut Ozil should leave London's Arsenal and spread his wings to Bayern Munich.
The future of the 28-year-old German national team midfielder in the Gunners' squad is currently unclear. Ozil has a contract until 2018, and negotiations for a new deal are at a standstill.
According to Ballack, Ozil should move to Bayern because he doesn't have a chance to win major tournaments with Arsenal.
"Mesut is a fantastic footballer. He knows he is the biggest star in the Arsenal club. Many clubs would like Ozil to play for them," said the former Chelsea player.
"However, if he wants to win important trophies, he should move to Bayern," added the German.
This season, Ozil has played 27 matches for Arsenal, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists.
