Controversial attacker Mario Balotelli will have to work harder to find a new club.
As journalist Rudy Galetti wrote, the "Corinthans" club, who were in negotiations with the veteran, decided at the last minute to break off talks and not sign a contract.
As a free agent, the 33-year-old Italian lost the opportunity to earn up to 6 million euros in Brazil over the next two years.
The owners of "Corinthians" could not agree on whether to bring in an experienced player at all, and there were also questions about the footballer's physical condition.
Last season, M. Balotelli played in the Turkish championship and scored 7 goals and made 1 assist in 16 games.
In the past, he has played for clubs such as "Inter", "Man City" and "Milan".
