"Milan" has confirmed that club striker Mario Balotelli will undergo surgery in Munich on Wednesday. The Italian needed it due to a recurring groin injury.
The footballer, who belongs to "Liverpool" but is playing on loan in the "fashion capital," has not appeared on the field since the end of September, and "rossoneri" coach Sinisa Mihajlovic still doesn't know when the striker will be able to return.
"Milan" has announced that tomorrow Mario Balotelli will undergo surgery in Munich, Germany, in order to heal his persistent groin injury," reads a message from the club.
"Injuries have not been healing for several weeks now, and conservative methods have not provided the desired effect."
"The surgery will be performed by Professor Ulrike Muschaweckas."
So far this season, Balotelli has played four matches for "Milan" and scored one goal.
