M. Caceres returns to "Juventus" after 2.5 years

Martinas Caceresas arrived in Turin to undergo a medical check-up and complete the transition to "Juventus".

The 31-year-old defender represented the team of Rome's "Lazio" this season. The Uruguayan barely played, but "Juventus" still decided to acquire the defender returning to Turin for the third time.

Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that this step was taken due to Medhi Benatia's expressed desire to leave the team. We have already written that the defender will leave to play in Qatar in the coming days.

"Juventus" will pay 600 thousand euros to "Lazio" for M. Caceres, while at the same time, selling M. Benatia will earn 10 million euros.

M. Caceres played for "Juventus" on loan basis in the 2009-2010 season, later went to Sevilla, but returned to Turin after two years and played there until 2016.

In total, wearing the "Juventus" jersey, the defender has played 110 matches and scored seven goals.
