"Manchester United" defender Michael Carrick has officially confirmed that he will end his career after this season.
Rumors about the end of the player's career have been circulating for a long time, and finally today the player admitted that he will end his career this summer.
"There comes a time when your body tells you it's time to stop. I have now faced that," revealed M. Carrick.
The footballer also revealed that after the season he will most likely start working as a coach, and in January Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho admitted that he would be very happy if the Englishman stayed to work at the club after his career.
During his career, M. Carrick won the "Premier League" five times, and in the 2007-2008 season he triumphed in the Champions League. The player also once won the FA Cup, three times celebrated the title of league cup winners, and last season added the title of Europa League champions to his collection.
