"Manchester United" defender Michael Carrick has extended his contract with the club for another year and will remain with the team at least until the summer of 2016. The footballer joined "United" from London's "Tottenham" team in 2006. During all these years for "Man Utd", Carrick has played a total of 376 matches and scored 22 goals. Together with the "Red Devils", the 33-year-old defender has won the English Premier League five times, claimed the FA Cup, and once triumphed in the UEFA Champions League.
