Michael Carrick has not received any news from the Manchester United leaders and does not know if they intend to keep him for the next season.
The midfielder, who left Tottenham in 2006, spent 10 years in the ranks of the Red Devils and during his career won five Premier League titles, once triumphed in the UEFA Champions League, and won one League Cup and FIFA Club World Cup each.
However, the 34-year-old veteran is still uncertain about his future.
"To be honest, I don't know. There are absolutely no news at all," Carrick said about his future plans to Manchester Evening News. "I haven't heard anything yet, so I can't comment on anything at the moment."
The England international extended his contract with the club last year. This year he is one of the most stable players at Man United.
During the winter transfer window, the midfielder was slightly linked with Arsenal in London.
