The young talent of "Manchester United" and the English national team, Marcus Rashford, became a true leader of the "Red Devils" this season until he was stopped by a back injury. Former "Man Utd" defender Matteo Darmian is convinced that M. Rashford has not yet shown all of his potential and in the future he may even win the "Ballon D'Or" award. "I still remember Rashford's first training session with the main team. I immediately thought that he is an exceptional footballer. Marcus did many incredible things, even though he was very young. Since then, he has further developed his aspects of the game and it impresses me. If he continues to improve like this, Rashford may win the "Ballon D'Or" award in the future. I am sure of that. Marcus has made the biggest impression on me of all the players I have met in Manchester and he is still very young. In my opinion, Rashford can reach the level of Kylian Mbappe and in the near future compete for the "Ballon D'Or" award," said M. Darmian during an interview with "The Guardian". The Italian also did not spare kind words for "Man Utd" coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. "I can only say good things about Solskjaer. I would give him a long-term contract. He is a well-prepared coach and the "Manchester United" project started with him having many young and promising players. I really hope that Solskjaer will succeed in this club, because he is a great person," added the defender.
