"Manchester City" official website announced that experienced center-back Martin Demichelis has extended his contract with the English champions for another year.
The 34-year-old footballer's contract with the "Cityzens" was set to expire this summer, but the Manchester City officials decided to keep the Argentine for at least one more season, as he successfully holds a place in the main lineup.
"I am very happy and proud to have extended my contract with 'Man City' for another year," said the Argentine national team defender.
"Manchester City" is an ambitious and growing club every year. There is no better feeling than winning trophies with this team," added M. Demichelis.
Former "Malaga" player has already played 20 matches in the English Premier League this season.
